Our students, under the able guidance of our Science Department, contribute to understanding the seasonal patterns in common Indian Trees by observing them through the year and documenting their findings. SeasonWatch:
The Electoral Club focuses on instilling civic responsibilities in the citizens of tomorrow. The political science teachers mentor the students on the electoral process and the functioning of the different government bodies. Electoral voting machines are provided so the club members get hands on experience to prepare for enrolment as voters when they reach the age of 18.
Anderson prides itself in its enquiry and exploratory based approach to learning. It nurtures the young scientific mind in its children so that one day they may go out and contribute to shaping the world’s future. For this reason, students participate in Science exhibitions that are held at the inter-school, district, state and national levels.
Every year, during May/June, the graduating cohorts (X and XII) come together for the Thanks Giving Ceremony, under one roof to celebrate their accomplishments in their board exams and to express gratitude to their teachers, school staff, classmates and parents who have all helped them through their school life
The School conducts educational annual excursions to different parts of the country. This is open to Classes 10 and 12 and the group size typically ranges between 40 to 60 students accompanied by a minimum of 5 teachers. In the past years, our students have travelled to Agra, Delhi, Rajasthan, Kerela, Bangalore, Mysore, Mumbai, Goa, Sikkim, Darjeeling and Kolkata to name a few places.
